Some movie critics said that Harrison Ford was too old to star in another Indiana Jones film, but the entertaining movie grossed $125m in its first weekend. With cars, well conditioned collectibles can fetch big dollars too. The 1937 Mercedes 300c from Raiders of the Lost Ark is up for bidding on eBay, and the starting price is a jaw-dropping $2.5m.

The mint-conditioned Mercedes convertible reportedly only has 600 miles on the odometer, and perhaps more importantly the vehicle’s owner has proof the German classic was in the movie. The classic Benz’s memorable scene came during one of films more exciting and unbelievable chase scenes, where it served as the ride of choice for the Nazi regime. The car, which sat untouched in a private collection for over 26 years, was also the featured guest at the 1982 Harbour, FL D’Elegance, and both the sheet metal and interior look spectacular.
