Eight automakers have world debuts scheduled for L.A. already

Eight automakers have world debuts scheduled for L.A. alreadyOrganizers of the L.A. Auto Show made the right decision moving the show from early January, when it was in almost direct conflict with the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, to late November/early December. Proof positive of this is the fact that eight automakers have already committed to staging world debuts of production and concept vehicles at the show. L.A. Auto Show organizers are saying this is the earliest the show has received so many major commitments. The news makes us jazzed and eager to visit L.A. in September, as the previous L.A. show last January failed to measure up with the other major auto shows last season.

The eight manufacturers who have committed to world debuts are Audi, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan and Volkswagen. Of course, show organizers were tight-lipped on which models specifically were going to be introduced, but rest assured that you’ll know when we know.
