Mazda plant to be back in shape by April

The Ujina No. 1 plant in western Japan will be back up and running in time for spring. Cherry blossoms and RX-8s, we can’t imagine a more beautiful sight. In December a fire started in the plant’s paint shop. The vehicle loss from the plants shut down is expected at 30,000, down from an earlier estimate of 70,000 as two other plants have tried to take up the slack.
